Youtuber DjGoHam Gaming recently had the opportunity to experience early access to Farming Simulator 25, and he recorded 30 minutes of gameplay footage for us to enjoy. Let’s highlight some of the exciting moments from his session.
We kick things off with a John Deere harvester working on a long grain rice harvest. During this process, the GPS function is activated, which is crucial. To use GPS mode effectively, you need to ensure the line turns green, allowing the AI to take over the rest of the task
Next, we see some action with a J&M grain cart. The level of detail on this trailer is impressive; even when zoomed in, you can spot various stickers and read them clearly. After some fun, DJ hops onto the OXBO MKB-4TR spinach harvester, which is a new crop introduced in this edition of Farming Simulator. While harvesting, we get a closer look at the animations and how the trailer fills up.
We also get a brief glimpse of the new production chain facility, showcasing some of the game’s fresh features.
Skipping ahead a bit, we discover that bees are making a return to Farming Simulator, adding another layer of realism to the gameplay.
There’s a house where players can change outfits, but since this isn’t the final version, it’s still a work in progress, and we can’t enter just yet.
Moving on, we find ourselves in a field affected by a twister. It’s noted that while the twister won’t lift your machinery, it will destroy crops. This ties into the new weather change feature, which introduces an element of unpredictability, much like in real life.
After a little while, we find ourselves in a different field and greet our friend Twister once more. It will also move unpredictably from one field to another. Soon, we witness the destruction of nature, like a tree that falls apart in an instant. This presents a new challenge for those involved in forestry, as they will need to clear away these broken trees from the fields.
This gives us an early glimpse of the game, which is still in development. For more details, comments, and footage, check out the video above where DJ explores FS25 with the assistance of one of the game developers, who shares insights along the way.
